Hi,

My driver's seat heater appears to be faulty and has a "hot spot", in conjunction with the seat base feeling a bit "lumpy".

The dealer wants ?400 for a new seat cover but I don't think I need a new seat cover, just to fix the heater matrix and fit a new cushioning section.

Does anyone know how I remove the leather seat cover so I can have a look at what the problem is?

It's a standard front seat as far as I know with electric controls but no memory.

Thanks

Jonathan

Has the seat heater burned a mark on your seat? There was a recall in the US regarding this issue.
