My ride is on its way here. Looking at the nice cars from Cali I am a little envious. I like the front bumper without the distraction of a license plate.
I assume that the license plate holder is installed at the dealership. Is this something that I can request to be left off before delivery?
I understand that most states require this buy law. (would it help if I slip the dealer a buck or two
)

As long as the dealer has your request they should leave it off. Mine did it, but I had to get it put back on after I got pulled over for not having it
. I guess it will depend on the dealer. If you got the M-kit it looks great without the plate holder.

I asked my dealer to leave it off and they did. They put the holder in the trunk for me to install. And it turns out the frame was for the non-M Aero bumper so I have another on order. I'll install the correct one when it gets in so I won't get pulled over.
If you get the Aero Kit, make sure you have the right frame.

One of the more annoying things dealing with small town cops. Didn't help that my windows were tinted
. Luckily got away with just a warning with the tint. I told the cop that I had just got the car and I was waiting to get the front plate installed.

Thank you all! Gonna roll the dice with the fuzz here in Jersey and see how quick they are to pull me over.
My sales rep ask me if I wanted the frame installed. I've gone 7 months without it, but I'm always concerned that if I get a parking ticket, I'll get nailed!
