My Ride: 2005 545i with everything
I've lived in California for many years with many cars and never had a front license plate and never gotten a ticket. IMO you have to be drawing attention to yourself in some way (ie. pimped out car, tinted windows, slammed, cruising, etc) to get a no-plate ticket.
