Three letters --- DSC --- did you have him shut it off? I'd say you take some of the blame then....

Ouch, sorry to see the 5 like that.

But, yeah, I'm surprised DSC didn't help...I've tried to play around with sliding as well, but had a hard time getting the car off balance with DSC on.

Anyway, only friends with similar performance cars ( or any E60 driver ) may exceptionally drive my 545i.

OUCH. Glad nobody was hurt.

Did you let him drive like that? If you did, then some of the blame must rest on you.

You're a good friend for letting another friend drive your car like that. I don't even let my GF drive my car, much less like that!

I don't really trust anyone else with my car. But being a rational driver/person, I think only a mad man could have slide and damage the car like that.

tab545, that's my little girl!

Spoke with the SA this morning after they put her up in the air. In addition to the previously mentioned items, there was damage to the left front rotor, left front caliper, some ARS components, and the sway bar. Damage to the front bumper and left side skirt...possible m-tech kit replacement? SA assured me that after speaking with the techs she will be restored good as new.

Downside: I prolly won't get her back until mid-Jan.
