Never thought about it before, but seeing those pics made me realize, I've never seen a white E60 here in Bavaria. I probably see at least 50 E60's every time I go into town and back. In the 5-6 years they've been out, I never saw a white one. I see the occasional white Audi, although they tend to be the RS4 models usually. Never see white Mercs or Porsches either. I think here in Deutschland, white is still very much out of fashion. I thought it was starting to come into fashion after VW launched their Scirocco with ads of white ones everywhere, and Audi did the same with the RS6, but people just don't seem to be buying them.

Need convincing? Check this link out. It's a search on Germany's top second-hand car buy/sell website. I specified BMW + 5er + 2004 onwards. You see 80 results per page. I only looked at the first two pages (160 cars) and not a single white one. When you think you might spot one, it's just a silver metallic one.

Weird huh?

It's not like Germany doesn't get hot. It was 90 here yesterday and reaches 100 every summer. It's still considered to be not classy to have a white car here.

looking good! 124's look great with the AW!

stock suspension? or did you drop it?

No...all stock. I thought about changing to 20's and doing a bunch of mods, but this car is so damn beautiful as is I just decided to leave it be. Thanks for the kind words.

Nothing. Just good old fashioned elbow grease and Maguiers wax.
