Whoa! I was just out in the garage playing with my horn buttons (Geno's thread) when I looked at my settings. Guess what. I had a full BMW Assist menu -- first time in over a year. Not only that, but Christie answered and wanted to know what she could do for me. Looks like my 2004 March build now has pro bono BMW Assist established again. Check yours.

I re-signed for two additional years. And will probably continue to renew it. IMO it's worth the cost.
I agree...it's better to be safe and have peace of mind knowing with a push of a button you can get help

I belive Mercedes has STOPPED free maintenace already. I'm a warranty administrator at a local BMW dealership and trust me when I say BMW will keep their free maintenace program for a long time. As far as Audi, I haven't heard anything yet

seems like just before I sold my 04 530 I got a letter from BMWNA saying they had extended my assist to 4 years at no cost.....so....like JDN says....I wonder if you try using it, it might be there??

I had my 530 for 19 months....never used it.....so......no big deal to me....although.....I might like to meet this Christie that answered JDN's call

I'm coming up on one year and rec'd the BMW assist renewal letter about a month ago. BMW assist does require annual renewal after the first year($240/yr) and every year thereafter, BUT BMW roadside assistance was extended in 1/06 for free for life of warranty (4 or 6 years).

I've decided to renew Assist. $240 wont change my lifestyle, but having and being able to use BMW Assist might.....
