I guess u find new features and things on ur car when ur stuck in traffic or when ur really bored while driving.

Locate your signal switch

if you press and hold the "check" button, it will check ur system. It will say All Systems OK if evrything is ok.

This one is my favorite. You know how u like to reset the mph, and mpg after every fuel up? I used to go to the idrive menu then car data then clikc reset etc. Now, i found out u can reset it in couple seconds!

Toggle to mpg by pressing BC. Press and hold BC and it will reset whichever you toggled to.

Thats how BMWs before iDrive did it... those features came from 1990 from the E34s!

I just did this an hour ago after filling up....one of those tricks I just figured out on my own.

I just discovered that you can manually set the wipers by pushing up on the stalk...after 2 years and now on my 3rd E60. I've just always used the auto-wiper function and found the manual function by accident.
But you owned those 3 E60's in a 6 month period!

LOL I knew about these on my previous E60 back in 2006.
I guess I'm the only one that actually reads the manual

Ain't it always about finances? Gas was $4.39 last July & the mortgage-sized payment was getting old. I needed a daily driver, and the M was just not practical at 13mpg. It was a shitload of fun, though.
