I have similar problem before, I replaced it with axxis pads and it solve the problem. Now, I only clean my wheels only everytime I clean the whole car as compared before that I have to clean the wheels every other day.

the dust is a result of the pad doing its job.
+1. And it makes my lazy butt do some work. It takes me off 5series.net for a few minutes.
Give your rims a good coat of Wheel wax or Rejex after cleaning them.

Do you experience any squeaking with the below pads since they are not BMW OEM? Thanks

get yourself some low dust brake pads....

Trinity Autosport carries Axxis Deluxe pads (that's what I have and from whom I bought them from)

AcutePerformance carries Hawk pads

both will fix the brake dust

***one of the best investments I made aside from my 166's, really makes my car look clean all the time

Sometimes, usually the first few minutes in the AM....goes away once the rotors and pads warm up....a small price to pay for not having to clean my wheels daily....

There are 4 different types of AXXIS, which one did you get?
May I ask how much did it cost?
