Try the heat method. It's recommended by BMW. Scroll back a few pages, I think Rudy posted a TIS.

An ex. BMW service advisor said sometimes there could be water trapped. I don't know how true but the heat method worked for me.

e46 - 2000 (dont remember...i was too emotional with that baby to remember that detail)
e39 2002 -none
e60 2004 -none
e60 2006 -none so far
