I don know about the UK version either.. I know here we dont have to remove the bumper, its just harder on one side to change the fogs due to the stuff in the way, I believe its the washer fluid reserve. Maybe im wrong, but I think thats what it was.

I dont think a higher wattage would throw any error codes. Im not 100%, but I dont think so. Worse case scenario try it, lol..

I got GP Thunder 8500K not sure what watt....but its very nice and I like the color . Replacing them is hard if you have the cold weather package due to the fluid thats for I think cleaning the headlights. Took me almost 2 hours because I lost a bolt...and then could not get the lining back together...
