Mike Miller's recommended schedule for our cars:

Synthetic Oil > 5,000 miles
Manual Transmission Fluid > 30,000 miles
Automatic Transmission Fluid > 30,000 miles
Differential Fluid > 30,000 miles
Air Filter > 30,000 miles
Fuel Filter > 30,000 miles
Timing Belt > 50,000 miles
Engine Coolant > 2 years
Brake Fluid > 1 year
Well, I have an issue with his recommendation. For one, we don't have a timing belt, so that is inaccurate.
I think synthetics could easily go atleast 7500 miles between oil changes.
Transmission fluid: 60K
Rear Diff Fluid: 60k
Air Filter: 30k
Cabin filter: 15k
Fuel Filter: 60k
Engine coolant: 4 yrs
Brake fluid: 2 yrs
All belts: 90K
Hoses: 90K
The above is what I plan to be doing with mine. I think its a good compromise between over-maintenance and BMW recommendations. I do all my own work and have owned BMW's for a long time. Never had issues following this schedule.
Regards.

Follow the "Ultimate BMW maintenance schedule" listed in this link and you will enjoy years of mostly trouble-free driving. Look around the site for other great tips:

I consider their recommendation over-maintenance with a slight conflict of interest. They make $$ by selling parts. Why wouldn't they wan't you to over-maintain?
Seems like a waste of $$.

I think Mike Miller suggests auto transmission fluid change every 60K.

I think the schedule provided is what used to serve older BMWs. Obviously the more frequently you do fluid change, the better off it'll be for the vehicle. It's really up to everyone to decide what's good enough for them.
