Hi All,

probably not the right section to post pics - but here we go, pictures of my ride with the following mods:

* Gun Metal finish 166M rims & Continental tyres
* 6 cylinder chrome Grilles
* Rear M spoiler
* MSport Badge and Number Plate carriers.
* Rear windows tinted 40%

Thoughts - good or bad welcomed. And before anyone wants to diss the 'M' badge - I know its not an M5 or a copy - but I like the badge and it helps break up the rear end nicely IMO.

Cheers,

Matt

Beautiful car! Are the wheels 19"? Do you have an aerodynamic trim kit on the sides below the doors? What is a 6 cylinder grile? Thanks.

Hi Juris335,

Thankyou for the kind comments, in answer to your questions:

* The car is an Msport - hence the Front and Rear Bumpers + the Side Skirts - nothing more than standard.

* The 4cyl cars come with matte black inner grilles with less slats. I have changed these to all chrome 6cly type with larger slats.

Best Regards,

Matt

Thankyou all for your kind comments,

xBMWx - have ordered a chrome cover from chrometeile - should be arriving anyday now.....

Will have to see how that works.

Thanks again - Matt

Nice one Matt -- trust me, the chrome tailpipe cover fits like a glove and finishes the OEM look off just right -- its simply what BMW puts on the LCI models.

Pleased to have helped

cheers,
Pete

Hi Slowhand,

They are 19" genuine BBS M5 Alloys - fitted with the correct sized tyres (Rear 175/30 + Front 145/35) for clearance.

The standard wheels are 18"s on this model - too small and too skinny for my liking - hence the change. Bought from ebay for the princely sum of ?1200/ $2500.

Regards,

Matt

Car looks great. Think the 'M' badge is fine - I have one myself. Like you, I do not intend to make it look like an 'M5', as it's clearly not. As I paid an extra ?3-4k approx. for the M-Sport over an SE (can't remember exactely how much now), I think it is poor that they don't come with this as they have the ///M badge on the steering wheel, gearlever knob, sill kick plates etc. Having said that, to the untrained eye at a quick glance, the M Sport version does look 'similar' to the 'M5' anyway - I guess BMW didn't want to upset would be M5 owners any further by adding the 'M' Badge to make it look any closer. Just my opinion.
