First Pics - 166's fitted & cleaned

How about a close up of the wheels? I'd love to see the color up close. What does 6cylinder grilles mean? Car looks fantastic. Love the color. Lose the M badge. It looks cleaner without it.

Hi All
In NZ you can buy a new 3 or 5 from the dealer which comes badged just with the M on the back replacing the 530 or 550 numbers.
Don't know if is actually made in the factory like that, but by the time they are sold here it indicates the M package - wheels stearing wheel etc has been selected.
ie we have two versions "refined" and "sport" for the 1,3,5 and X series in NZ, just like MB and Audi for their respective ranges (ie to match the needs of the respective markets for euro cars here)
So I say the M badge is fine as in my part of world it's factory.
(And makes a M335 look just like a M3 - which IMHO is a big mistake as the M3 would loose sales to the 335)
Nutters like me look for oval mirrors for proper M cars anyhow!
Cheers

Nice looking car.
If you like the M Badge fair enough but I'd say you've set it a tad too high. Looks a bit odd IMHO.
I reckon you should lower it a little.....

Great looking ride you have there... and of course I am biased!
If you look at "and here" picture link in my signature next to my previous ride, you'll see details and pics of the 520d chrome tail pipe cover. Very very cheap and easy mod -- totally plug and play. I personally think that would be a must have for your ride. I also fitted the chrome grills to my 520d.
Enjoy!
