You have got to look at it as your last accident in your e60 ...not your first ... as if more are expected. Be safe.

Maxbuck,

If I recall correctly we both picked up our orient blue 545s in June of this year???

Good luck with the repairs-- be sure to find a good shop.

I was rear-ended about a month ago while stopped at a stop light, but fortunately in my Acura TL, not by BMW (thank goodness.) My son was in the car and I was pretty freaked out for moment, but he was fine. I had some back soreness for a couple weeks, but all is OK now. I found a great repair shop in the bay area and the car looks super-- they did a fantastic job. It was a $3K repair, and its as good as new.

By the way, for anyone reading, I switched from CSAA insurance two years ago to Amica based on their ratings in JD Powers, and I am very glad I did-- Amica was super helpful and very proactive in working with the other driver's insurance company.

Glad to hear everyone is OK and good luck get back on the road again.

well i was nearly killed by a drunk driver in September. Blew a stop sign at 80 mph and t boned me. The cops said later at the hospital that I missed getting killed by a 100th of a second! and that I should buy a lottery ticket. I went and bought a 550 instead! I thought life is too short and I'm gonna go for it! Can't wait to get it!

What car was that that you got smashed in? Was it as safe as the 550?

it was an 02 Buick Regal. Leather and moonroof. Nice car but far from a 550! Just a buyback I had gotten at the auction. We were Ford dealers til 2 years ago and had enough of the nightmare! haha but we still buy and sell some vehicles here and there.
