What a great way to take care of your tranny problem, Osama. Congrats; it is gorgeous. Glad you stayed a BMW guy. I may have to take some sort of drastic action if BMW can't sort my 20.01.00 performance problem out in a reasonable period of time. I don't think I would buy another BMW though since I would have no confidence that the same sort of thing wouldn't happen on the next one. I'd miss the forum though.

Congratulations on your new car. I wish I had that problem so I could get an M5. Unfortuinately, the behavior of my Steptronic to this point (2000 miles) has been satisfactory. I enjoyed the SMGII of my M3, but was never able to get my wife to drive the car. Keep us informed on how you like the M5.

Edit - wheels are 18"ers right, are they your winter wheels?
Yes ... 18" wheels with Dunlop M3 245/45/18 snows. Original 19" are stored at the dealer.

Extremely nice. Congrads Havn't seen a lot of M5 in Toronto, especially during the winter. How does it perform on snow?

Not sure ... I know it affects 550s (but not 545s) ... I don't know if it affects 650s. I have a friend who had a 645ci and he doesn't have the same problem.

hmmm...anyway to interrogate the dealer if they have had instances of transmission trouble with teh 650ci... cause its really important for me and my dealer has only ever sold 1 650ci till now... if you could

By the way congrats on the amazing car
