As some of you may recall I bought a 550i on Nov 05 and had a transmission problem that I posted about here and here. After many attemps by my dealer to fix the problem and getting no response for several PUMA cases the dealer opened I finally said enough is enough. My dealer was kind enough to give me a great deal on a trade in for an M5 (all 550s that I drove have the same problem as my x-car). Having driven the M5 for a day and a half I must say that I am really impressed with the car and the SMG tranny. I originally bought the 550 to avoid the SMG because I hated the SMG on my brother's M3 ... but M5 is a whole different story. All I can say is the M5 is a masterpiece.

Here are some pics of the new beast

Yes ... 18" wheels with Dunlop M3 245/45/18 snows. Original 19" are stored at the dealer.

Osama - Glad you found a resolution to your problem that suits you. Your new M5 looks very impressive. Good luck with it.
