My Ride: 2006 Silverstone/Black M5 with Comfort Access, Manual Side Sunshades, Electric Rear Sunshade, M Multi-Function Active Seat, Head-Up Display.
As some of you may recall I bought a 550i on Nov 05 and had a transmission problem that I posted about here and here. After many attemps by my dealer to fix the problem and getting no response for several PUMA cases the dealer opened I finally said enough is enough. My dealer was kind enough to give me a great deal on a trade in for an M5 (all 550s that I drove have the same problem as my x-car). Having driven the M5 for a day and a half I must say that I am really impressed with the car and the SMG tranny. I originally bought the 550 to avoid the SMG because I hated the SMG on my brother's M3 ... but M5 is a whole different story. All I can say is the M5 is a masterpiece.

My Ride: 2006 550i Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound Package, Comfort Access, Xenon Headlights, Adaptive Headlight Control, Navigation System, Steptronic Transmission. Silver Gray Metallic with Gray Leather. Added Red rear reflectors. Swapped stock Style 124 wheels and Bridgestone run-flat tires for BMW Style 125 5-Double Spoke wheels, 8" x 19" front, 9.5" x 19" rear with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, 245/40YR-19 front and 275/30YR-19 rear.
Osama - Glad you found a resolution to your problem that suits you. Your new M5 looks very impressive. Good luck with it.
