tires can be different widths even though they have the same specs...the difference can be quite signifcant at times.

In the US, the tires on the 535i are 275/35/18. Maybe your tires are taller as well as 10mm wider.

275*.35= 96.25 mm, 18*25.4= 457.2 mm
457.2+96.25+96.25= 649.7 overall tire height

vs.

285*.30= 85.5 mm, 20*25.4= 508 mm
508+85.5+85.5= 679 mm

Your tires are 29.3 mm taller and 10 mm wider than 275/35/18. If you're OEM tire were smaller then the increases are more. What was the OEM size?

Rolled my fenders with a heatgun, rubber mallet and a terry cloth. No cracking in the paint. Good luck!

Heat up the fenders to soften the paint and metal. Be careful not to get too close to with the heat gun or it will blister the paint. Use it on the lowest heat setting and be patient.

Cover your mallet with a terry cloth and firmly pound on the fender lip. Pound it like you're tenderizing meat, not like driving a nail. Good luck!

Thanks I'm gonna give it a bash 2moro, the fenders have already started to bend inwards because of the tyres hitting them!
