Fender Rolling

My Ride: 2005 BMW 530D Sport
Hello everyone,
Has anyone had their rear fenders rolled without the paint cracking?
Anyone one done it themselves have any tips?
New tyres are rubbing for some reason even thou the the same size as previous ones!

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

vs.
285*.30= 85.5 mm, 20*25.4= 508 mm
508+85.5+85.5= 679 mm
Your tires are 29.3 mm taller and 10 mm wider than 275/35/18. If you're OEM tire were smaller then the increases are more. What was the OEM size?

Rolled my fenders with a heatgun, rubber mallet and a terry cloth. No cracking in the paint. Good luck!

Heat up the fenders to soften the paint and metal. Be careful not to get too close to with the heat gun or it will blister the paint. Use it on the lowest heat setting and be patient.
Cover your mallet with a terry cloth and firmly pound on the fender lip. Pound it like you're tenderizing meat, not like driving a nail. Good luck!
