Since the standard headliner in the sub-M5 e60s (and most other BMWs, for that matter) seems to generally be an eye-sore for most enthusiasts, I'm [thinking about] teaming up with another member on this board to offer custom headliners to any paying customer.
We have to gauge possible interest, so I'd like you guys to chime in on the subject. Pricing is not set yet, but we will be using your existing headliner, which means that if you're not bringing the car to us, you will have to have the headliner and all the associated trim pieces (list will be sent to you when you make your order) shipped to us. We will be able to fit just about any kind of fabric to your headliner - obviously, any LV or G leather is available, but we're mostly thinking color-coordinated alcantara, CF fabric and maybe some perforated leathers. Coincidentally, having the headliner shipped will probably result in a cost-saving to most DIY'ers, as we can deduct the cost of having to take apart and put together the headliner from the price.
Long story short, we're not yet ready to take orders and have a few details to iron out before we do. But we want to know any and all of your thoughts on the subject.
