There is a limit to ARS at which point the body will lean just like any other car.
i don't think it could be possible to keep it at 0 roll! Don't think we have the technology or if we have it than it would be too expensive! 0 roll is like whatever u do with the car (like pull the handbrake at 120km/h and steer viciously 0 roll) It maight be even dangerous...to avoid flippin the car!
Exactly my point... if ARS is tuned to minimum or unoticeable roll (which is possible with ARS according to the briefing i attended during e60 launch) driver will not feel it is on the edge of the limit of traction vs. centrifugal force.

A fully active suspension can maintain zero degree roll. I believe that ARS could come close but it is not fully active.

Keep in mind that the inside tires don't have to lift off the ground to affect the cornering speed. When a car leans in the corner, the inside tires begin to unweight which causes a reduction in the size of the contact patch. The smaller the contact patch, the less grip a car has -- even if the tire is still in contact with the road...

There is empirical data from Car and Driver. It tested a 530i with Sport suspension in 2004 with ARS (DD) and a newer 2005 530i non-sport in the now-infamous $55K sedan shootout in which the BMW placed 6th.
The 530i sport they tested in 2004 posted lateral acceleration of .90g on a 300ft. skidpad. The 2005 posted lateral acceleration of .82g on a 300ft. skidpad. Car and Driver prides itself on very accurate testing, using the latest high-tech gear and correcting for environmental variables.
Certainly some of this difference in performance can be attributed to wheel/tire fitments, but it can't account for all of it.
Dynamic Drive adds roll gradually after a certain amount of lateral acceleration to provide the necessary feedback to the driver that the limit is drawing near.
This article is quite informative.

But you will not drive the car so hard on its limits that it will do it. So, you will most likely never experience the roll...
