Fan Whine Noise and Hummm - Dealer says 'sorry'?

What year and model are you driving? How many miles?

Look forward to hearing what your dealer says. Again, mine basically said "bring it back if it gets 'worse' and we'll try to get BMWUSA to fix it." (good cop/bad cop) Even though they agree it's 'not normal', they classify it as 'normal operation' and send me away. Mine is CPO btw.

I'll be taking it back in a week or so for oil change and will revisit the issue then.

My car is an 06 525i with 55k miles. My SA hasn't called me yet today. Good thing is that I have 3rd party extended warranty. Therefore, BMW will most likely say "yes, we hear the whirring sound".

I will update you on the findings. Initial diagnostics is that the compressor might have malfunctioned.
