That?s kinda sucks :'(
My dealer havent said anything about an upcomming facelift
Why would they tell you ?

There not in this job to only make you happy, but to sell cars every month and make money.
If they told all prospective customers, most would want a March 07 onwards car and they wouldn't sell much of the production in between unless they discount it nicely.

Unfortunately, that's the way it is.

That is it mate, said it nicely.

So do as Ralp_NL said, negotiate some nice extras or accessories and then you are OK.

If we would wait for all the new inventions of BMW we would never buy the car

also normally each Sept tehy raise the prices by 7% as far as I remember that is why I did not wait for mag engine with piezos but I do not regret it there is always a next time

Would you really want to be the 1st in the modified model, bearing in mind the problems early adopters have?.
Better to wait until a year or so, when BMW may iron out the 'new' bugs, which there are bound to be..

It is not a new model only new design And yes it is a new engine but remember that engine debuted now in the 335 and they have a half year to improve it or to solve upcoming issues.
I am going too buy it becouse if you look at BMW,Benz,Audi,Volvo you name it, the best and most quality cars is from the facelift and so are the resale value. If I get my 535I I will for sure keep it until the next facelift of the F10 becouse I dont whant to be a testpilot anymore for BMW If you look at facelifted E39 with 3 liter Diesel or petrol engine and whith good options you can get it under 18000€

I am a it person and I will never buy a new car model until after 1 year or so. so when the new model of the next 5 comes out in 2010 i will wait for 1 year to buy it.
The car that I have is a 2004 not the 03 so far nothing wronge (touch wood).
Just like Bill gates OS windows there are so many bugs to fix and the new poeple buying these cars are are going to be the ginnea pigs.

very good point. after my last mb, which was a 1st yr model and btw was a lemon, i swear i would never buy a 1st yr car again. besides, you will pay close to msrp or wait a good 1 yr before prices of 535i go down. we shall leave it to our e90/e92 compadre's to deal with the initial issues (rumors of bi-turbo engine overheating already)

i don't know how fast bmw corrects its problems, but the current mb e-class engine was introduced in mid 2005 and they are still having engine/tranny issues across the whole line.

So what does the touring get now? 528, 530, or 535?

Maybe there will be 2 models brought out. I see the 530 got a small power increase, to 260hp?
