Exterior Mirror Lighting

I must say, one week after I took delivery of my 2006 530xi I am absolutely in Love. Of course the attraction and love came well before delivery, but thats another story. I realized what some of the posts I have read on e60.net about the extended light package does and it really is pretty cool. I just have one quick question...
For some reason, most of the time anyone wants to take a look at my new car it happens to be at night time. When approaching the car I would love to make the mirror lights turn on. I know when I lock and unlock the car it comes on, but is there a way to have just the lights come on?
