Can you please give a phone # or web site address for them. I'll need an extended warranty for my 535i when
the factory one ends. Thanks

First, gold doesn't cover the navigation system or radio - platinum does.

Second, none of them cover wear items, like brakes and suspension, so the adviser saying it is "just like the original warranty" isn't being completely accurate.

I'm at 45K now, and I'll be getting the platinum warranty soon.

Ok, i call bmw today and asked a lot of ques...
1. the maintance plan covers everything on the idrive (brakes, oil, brake fluid) $2500
2. the Gold package includes any mechanical problems (power steering pump, transmission, engine, differential, calipers etc) $3500
the gold package does not cover wear and tear like brake pads and suspension.

so if I pay $6000 dollars i could have a lot of coverages but not wear and tear items....

on these new info im gonna skip any of these plans and upgrade to coilovers...

I wouldn't bother with the maintenance plan. Either do the work yourself, or take it to an independent shop.
