pics? well i am almost as inept around computers as i am around cars....but... i willl figure it out
as for the sharp edges ..... that's where the safer exhaust comes in handy.....just one condom on each exhaust tip and those puppies will be safe all right....suposedly works for othher 'exhaust tips' doesn't it?

pics wil arrive a bit latter

this is why I love this forum and esp. this current thread. 1st I have to say welcome Bruce Holmes. I enjoy your tough skin, everyone taking jabs and you just keep it moving without to petty name calling as we see on so many other boards. I'll definately take you advice to heart as I go test drive my soon to be 530 this afternoon! lol I'm gonna wear some nice long jeans rather than cargo shots even though it's hot outside.

Bruce - you did well with the ribbing and I have to say, I agree with you. My previous BMWs did not have the exhaust tips hanging out. I'm careful, but I do worry about my kids when they come around the back of my car while I'm getting something out of the trunk. Granted, they will only do it once, but....

Sometimes it's nice to touch your pipe after a long ride...if you know what I mean...
I'm not sure that EVERYBODY knows what you mean.....but please, DON'T feel free to elaborate. Would this have anything to do with the movie "Pipe Dreams"???

Never mind the exhaust - these cars are a danger in themselves.

There is absolutely nothing to stop you driving into a brick wall or for that matter over a cliff.

You would have thought BMW would have thought about our safety in the event we were stupid enough to try to drive through solid objects or in the sky.

Anyway - welcome Bruce - I hope your leg feels better soon - 3rd degree burns are a small price to pay for the pleasure of a BMW.

Hey Bruceholmes, I didn't know you were into Tattoos
but looks to be the most personal one you can get to bond with your car

I would still rather drive into a brick wall AND be hit in the head with a hammer and a folded chair AND
explode in flames than drive a Lexus
