Cost is purely dependent on the how much money the shop thinks they can get out of you. With the same exact parts, for a old beater 98 mustang $125, for a flashy E60, $550 on up.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking and those are the type of places I'm trying to avoid. So if anyone knows anywhere good please chime in.

I wish I remember the place I got my exhaust in Houston. I got a full mandrel bent exhaust to the bumper on my then new to me Trans Am. When we negotiated the price it was $300 if I lost the race with his drag car, and 0 if I won. After the exhaust was installed we raced in front of his shop and I paid nothing.
