110 plus thousand. Never a problem till now. It was leaking from underneath and I added fluid. Waiting for diagnostics visit from BMW friend. Sense its in "safe mode" and hopefully just has a leak on fitting, cause the pump still primes.

I purchased Redline MTL and Redline 75W90(I think I forgot already).
I emailed Mike Miller and that's what he suggested me.
$70 for both fluid and $37.50 for labor at my indy shop.
Best $100 ever spent!!

How many quarts of MTL and 75W90? Any tips on replacing the MTL in the gearbox?

As far as any tips, well my indy mechanic done it for me and it seemed very easy.
No more work than the oil change.
My mechanic done it in 25min for both.

My Ride: 2011 550i M sport
2005 545i with 48,000 miles. Had to have the clutch replaced at 46,000 miles because it was slipping. I have owned the car for 1 year (12,000 miles) and drive mostly city w lots of shifting. The slipping (very minor) was there from the day I bought it as CPO but I thought it was something typical of smg and my inexperience wuth it and finally had dealer check it out 6 months after I bought it
