Have you ever found your self wondering what it looks like when the paint on your e60 is scraped off all the way to the metal?
(for some viewers this might be traumatic - brace yourself)
BTW, don't ask. It was obviously something stupid.

It probably wouldn't have been so bad until I moved the car forward... I was backing up towards a pop-up camper that was popped up. I was trying to give my buddies jeep enough room to park in front of me.
The e60 will fit perfectly under the pulled out sections of the pop-up - as long as there are not any handles or large metal objects hanging down...
The trunk got caught on a handle that worked like a barb. If I had just parked and had someone lift the pull out part up off the trunk it would not have worked it self in to the paint when I moved the car forward...
I have estimates out... but I'm guessing it'll be several mods worth of repair.
