I don't mean this with any disrespect, but if you're not in Europe, why would you want a Euro plate? All it does is act as a ticket magnet. To each his own, but this is something I never understood

i would understand if u came from some part of Europe and want to have a bit of Euro-ish on the car. Just like I would like to put a Hong Kong plate on my car. If u ever get pulled over, tell them u r registered in Europe and drive there every so often. LOLz. In Hong Kong, it is RHD (the actual correct side of the steering wheel) and in China it's LHD (what WE believe is the correct side of the steering wheel). You often see cars that drive through the borders have both Hong Kong plates and China plates.

I know over here in Michigan, I have seen plenty of cars with the Euro plates on the front (we dont have front license plates required). I know some co-workers which have had them and there haven't been any issues. This is a mod i'm definitely considering.
Michigan at least used to have a front plate must!

When did the law change?

Wow...that was a long time ago. I think it changed in the mid to late 80's if I had to venture a guess. I graduated high school in 98 so I have no clue. But every since I've been driving, you've never had to have the front plate. So let me ask you, how did you get from Michigan to Helsinki, Finland?

I come from Europe and I think the car is euro enough Actually I like the smaller US style plates over the euro ones and that its so cheap to get a custom number...although I would prefer no plates at all.
