Default Error CDAC info

Hey,
recently my 523i n52 started to give this error 00CDAC (state water valve, 3B5) and the bad part is that give check engine light too. If i clear the error will come back the next day , or after 2,3 days (random) with a check engine light.
Searched google like crazy and i cant find anything about this error or (state water valve, 3B5). Only thing i can find is that leads to auxiliary heating valve, also why the f*** a auxiliary heating valve will give check engine light?
If anyone know something please let me know fast because in about 4 days i need to take a long trip 1500km and want to fix it before i go.

Aux only gives a message not a CEL so you're looking in the wrong place.

I can promise you that is not the reason for your check engine light. That code is for the valve not receiving 10v for longer than 200 secs at power up so you have a CAN issue between the IHKA and DME. My valve was bad for almost a year and there was no CEL only a message. Never seen it never will.

Your CEL is coming from another code you have so you need to look somewhere else or take it to a BMW mechanic to run it for the correct code to fix why the CEL is on. Looks like you have a lot of issues going on with your car that you may need assistance with.

then why that code when I scan it with Carly shows in Engine section if has nothing to do with CEL?

The other codes that I have in Carly Engine section are

This two codes are the catalyst , but I had them before and they dont bring CEL.
If you guys know a fix for CDAC error let me know.
Thanks

The 2 codes 29F4 and 29F5 would definitely throw the CEL. Carly is definitely not the tool for a beginner to troubleshoot complex issues. The valve has nothing to do with the engine. The error will be listed in IHKA if you use a real BMW scan tool

I've already let you know what your issue was for you heater valve. You have to troubleshoot why you're not getting power. Test from the plug back and you'll find your issue.

i will use my multimeter tomorow, maybe i get lucky and find the problem and next time i get check engine i will use ista+ .
The good part is that the car run fine even with the CEL on, 0 problems

Btw , can leak in Exhaust right before Rear muffler can cause catalytic error ?

Yes it can cause an error if it's before the sensor or at the manifold. The sensor measures will be off. After the cat/downstream sensor it doesn't matter how it gets rid of the exhaust. Even though your car is driving fine I'm sure your mpgs are not where they should be.

Yes my mpg is a bit off . When i got the car first time it took about 8,4l/100km with 50 city, 50 autobahn , now its with 1l more same route. I had the thermostat changed about 1 month ago because the car was not reaching the temp, it was at 87-97 and the fuell consumption was about 9,5- 10l/100km, now temp stays mostly at 103 and fuell consumption is at 9,4 or lower if i don't kickdown too much .
