If you are using some generic scanner, do not assume that the error codes are 100% correct. If using INPA then 9C77 is the proprietary code. If you do have this option you can activate it in INPA. probably under CHASSIS. Just look up your VIN and if it came factory you'll have the option. it's as simple as that.
A P-code is a generic code from a generic OBD reader.

Thanks AchtungE60, I have INPA on a laptop which connects to the vehicle over K+DCAN USB cable. So what you are saying above, any code obtained from generic OBD reader will definitely be captured with INPA as well?
