Default Erasing codes

Hi I switched the brakes on my 545i e60 by myself but my BRAKE light still comes on, I've tried erasing it like I erased my passed codes, by using the button on the dashboard. I tried doing the same with the brakes but it doesn't let me, anybody have an idea on how to do it? Or is there a machine that i can buy that could do it? Thanks in advanced

Did you replace the sensor? I've also heard, but have not actually confirmed, that some people have stated when they waited on replacing brakes and allowed the warning message to go far in the negative they couldn't reset it according to the normal procedure and had to have it reset with the software. I've allowed mine to go negative, but only for maybe -200 max. and I was able to reset without any issues. So I am not sure if or how far you can go in the negative where you might have some issues.

Nope haven't replaced the sensor, maybe that's the issue. Also I wasted my brakes too the the minimum. Guess I'm going to have some issues.

You will have to replace the sensor to get rid of the code. Easy fix, pop in a new sensor and reset the code.
