According to AMS the new 535d will have 286 hp and 580 Nm and the new
3.0 litre engine (530i) will have 275 hp and 315 Nm.

I did draw this conclusion from this news whitch is about the facelifted X3 introduced in late September.

Let's see if these new engines will come the E60 MY '07.

Oh boy, I hope BMW would release petrol bi-turbo 300hp 3.0L engine. I don't want 275hp engine because that hp will only available at higher rev compared to the current one. Therefore, daily driving won't feel any difference.
I have a very high hope for 535i 300hp because the budget approval has been "signed" for next year.

286PS=282hp

I'm gonna change when this updated 535d comes out! I've already chosen my spec and colour etc!

Note that this info is only good for the facelift X3!

I still believe that all the new engines will be introduced
at the E60 facelift in Sept. '07.

But who knows exactly when...
