My seats work fine as does the memory function buttons, but the steering wheel adjustment does nothing. I've check the fuse and that is fine to. When I turn the key before starting there is a very tiny 'nudge' on the steering wheel....sort of like it is setting itself...or trying to set itself. But the joystick does nothing, there is also no noise when trying to adjust it

any ideas from you fellow 5er's

I had a similar problem with my wheel not going to where it was set. I received some advice on this forum to do a reset. Basically running the wheel all the way up until it stops and then release and press it up again a couple times, it should go up a little more. Then repeat this but in the down direction. Next, set the wheel to where you want it and press the memory set button and then a memory number. I actually had to set a different number because when settign the same one as before it didn't seem to work properly. All is ok for me now...

Are any functions on the adjuster switch working? If not then the switch may be dead or just disconnected - it's a relatively cheap part (under $100).

The steering wheel does not move at all....ever. I'm going to have to spend some time and take the plastics off around the column and see if there are loose connections anywhere, hopefully it is something simple like that

mine works only in and out but doesnt move up and down...i dont mind it cause where i sit the wheel is actually perfect but if larger people sit in my car they arent able to move my wheel. i never actually looked into it though, maybe a fuse or something
