Electric fault with bmw e60?

It definately sounds like an overheating issue. The CCC acts as an computer. When it cant get cool it shuts down to save it from burning out. I would get a can of air and blow the fan out drive it around and if that doesnt work purchase a new one. Something is telling it to shutdown. I also noticed that you said the a/c comes on when it wants. That could be an a response but it also can be something totally different. Is there still moisture in the trunk. You will cave to check the actual connections to make sure.

Hi Mosti,

I have the same issue on my 05 645. I also think it might be the cooling fan, since it works fine during the winter.

But also my car was sitting for a while and the battery got discharged, and I'm also reading that the problem might be a voltage issue.

Can you tell me how did it go fixing yours?
