hi there all, i have a 2005 530d sport with halogens, i have bought 2 xenon headlamps with ballasts attached to the bottom,
1. my first question is what is the other slot on the bottom for? is it a control unit for a adaptive function?
2. what do you need to do to get them to work?
i cant find anything on the net about this mod if it is possible or not worth bothering with. i know lots of people fit hid kits, but i want the original projector look.
3. should the car pass the mot without any probs?
thanks in advance to all, if anyone can shed any light i would be really obliged.....

There's a OEM set for both the front and read light clusters.
Also some other spans are available.

if non-OEM, where did you buy them from? brand?
I would recc an OEM retrofit if possible..
