Stupid observance maybe, but I hate the steering. I've had 2 this summer (loaners) and they steer like a video game, no feedback from the road at all. Hate the cupholder also. The 8 speed auto is pretty fun though, gears galore.

i'm curious to see the new M5 series. as far as the 28 & 35 f10 i think it looks weak. the 550 sport is decent. overall i'm disappointed in the new style. it's true that sometimes these things need to grow on you but it just isn't happening this time.

I love the beautiful lines of the E60 and it doesn't look out-dated to me considering it came out in 2003.
However, the F10 is slowly growing on me and will most likely be my next car. M-tech kit surely makes the F10 look mean!

My only complaint is the transmission/steering make the driving experience feel too subdued. Sixt rented me a 5er GT from Munich to Berlin earlier this year so I really got to push the thing to the limit on the autobahn. It had a tiny diesel in it though.
As locobart said, something about the driver feedback isn't commensurate with what is actually happening.
All that aside, I do like the way the center console meets up with the dash - it is more fluid than the E60 in my opinion. I really dig the taillights, and the absence of the yellow line on the headlights cleans up the front as well.

I don't like the F10 one bit.
Things I don't like:
1-eyebrows replaced with cheap looking plastic covering ,2-front elongated end looks like a snout , 3-rear tail lights not as distinguished as e60 , 4-handling is stiff , 5-Looks similar to the 7 series
I like the new interior and the HID Angel eyes though... I have my 528i and will be looking for a CPO e60 rather than f10, no doubt. Probably 545 or 550 next!
