e60 trunk will not open
We have a 2010 e60 with N52k.
The trunk won't open manually with the metal key when inserted into the lock.
The trunk won't open with any of the electronic buttons to release the trunk.
Is there an emergency trunk release?

That's extremely odd. Assuming the key turns in the lock? Do you feel any resistance when it does? I've never even tried using the key in the lock as the electrics have always worked.
Yes, there's an emergency pull but it's for if you're trapped in the trunk - not accessible from outside at all. I have fold-down seats but you need to be in the trunk to release them - no "key on the parcel shelf" like some cars.
