E60 Transmission oil flush?

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
If you plan on keeping the car after 100K miles, it is highly recommended to change transmission AND differential fluid every 40-50K miles. Don't forget the AWD crankase fluid if you have Xdrive. Cost is nothing compared to the $7K+ for a transmission replacement.

Thanks for your help guys... I guess I should go fork out the dough to get the fluids changed then. I'm getting a bit scared after my 04 X5 4.8 just had the tranny replaced after 110k kms ($12k parts + labour + tax) under warranty.

I would change it now.
I change my oil at 45000 km, I change because the gear box started to jerk abit and not smooth even I reset the computer.

I did mine ('06 550i) at 60k miles. Cost about $750 at the dealer. Cost was high because they indicated that the oil filter is integrated into the oil pan, hence you get a new pan with your filter. Indy I asked for an estimate said $850. I guess I wouldn't always assume that independent BMW service outlets are cheaper than the dealers. YMMV.

Were you under CPO warranty? or aftermarket warranty?
