E60 starter ?

Default E60 starter ?

hi folks

i have a problem
My car doesnt want start ,when i press the start button i only hear the fuel pump
i have my own diagnostic tool no erros are displayed
the battery was changed last year



has my starter died ?

2006 e60 m52b25

it can be the starter. how many miles on the car? test the starter by asking a friend for help. when one turns the key to start the car, have the other underneath the hood with a long skinny stick to tap the starter simultaneously.

where is the starter located on the driver side or ?

Under the intake manifold (on the drivers side).
