Now that we have a history of the e60, generally speaking will the Start Stop button start to fail at:
- 5 years

I keep coming back for the high comedy.
But seriously - the first owner of my car didn't bite their fingernails. The rubbery finish is chipped all over the start button surround. Looks bad but like the now outdated idrive screen, I get enthusiastic about fixing it until I see the price tag.
