good that you didn't damage anything - the car has got protection. but there was a possibility you could bend the rims. it happpened to me twice. need to be carfull with sport package and low profile...you will feel it right away though - if the wheel bend, it's unbalanced and it will shake on 60 mph so most likely you ok..

and, by the way change from runflats and you will feel big difference. it worth it and you could sell your RFT's if they are still good after. I changed mine for Pirellis (not the most expensive kind - $800 for 4) and it feels sooo much better.

and 124s are not the best quality rims. I've had one cracked and one bend. for the last 6 month
Sport package + 124s + high speed + railroad tracks = potential for catastrophic failures. Do a search here.

Too bad, cause I just bought a 124 as an extra for my 123s. I might use it as a spare, as I too do not believe in RFTs.

I think I'm going to wait until the RFTs are worn down and then replace them with non-RFTs. Since the car is certified pre-owned, they put on 2 brand new RFT tires before selling it. I would hate to waste them.
My CPO E60 came with 2 brand new RFT's too, I swapped them as fast as I could the very next day!! To each their own though!
