Default e60 sound coming from the front end help!

Hello, can anyone help me identify what is wrong with my car. The sound started happening when I would drive past 65mph and now even when I'm driving 30mph I still get the sound. It does not make a sound when I am at idle. My car is at 130,000 miles.

Also, I don't believe it's my belts since they have been changed 4 months ago and my oil levels seem to be fine

Sure sounds like a belt or something stuck in one of the fans. I would still check the belts even though they are fairly new. Then move on to the fans. Not just the radiator fan either. I have had twigs get lodged in the cabin air fans before.

I've got this issue with my 525i as well. I can usually replicate it under hard acceleration, but will randomly occur during normal driving between 30-50 and 60mph (again only when accelerating) Although mine is not this constant, sounds almost like rocks bouncing around in the front bumper, I've had the dealers look into it: got nothing, just tightened my wheel well guard since it was loose. I want to look into it from underneath but need time :/ Hoping somebody else has ideas, experience with this matter

What year and model e60 do you have OP? Does the car still drive perfectly fine - or at least as well as it did before the sound appeared?
The fact that it only happened at 65+mph for a while tells me its likely something that is coming loose. As the part or bolt continues to become looser and looser the noise is beginning to become more noticeable at lower speeds. If its a part or bolt coming loose (or one that already fell out and is stuck vibrating around somewhere) its too hard for me to diagnose without being there in person. It could really be any bolt or part coming loose and its hard to tell without being there to pinpoint the sound.

Can you hear it if you rev the engine in park or neutral? If so, pop the hood and have a friend or family member rev the engine while you try to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from.
