I ordered this one now. Its for the E39, which had the fleece filter for the crankcase breather. Apparently it fits my E60 520d pre LCI.
Will install it as well as the new block off plates with better o-rings for my intake manifold and report back

update: so far it seems that the intake manifold is not leaking oil at the swirl flaps after replacing the blanking plates and seals.

next step is to replace the crankcase breather from the E39 for my E60

thanks for all the quick replies. If I have any more trouble I will let you guys know. The old o-rings of the swirl blanking plates did not look good and couldnt provide a good seal.
left blanking plate is new one with new seal, right one is the old one with bad seal

Im noticing a slight oil leak which is at the oil filler cap
I replaced the cap with a new one from bmw
but the leak is still present
I know my vacuum pump is leaking but I dont think this is the cause for it?
And Im pretty sure I have too much pressure in the crankcase so the oil could try to escape.

Any tips on what to do?
Im going to replace the ccv next week

You saying you have high pressure in the crankcase and you're addressing it by replacing the CCV. Install the kit and see if it makes a difference. If it's pressure in the crankcase that should solve the issue if the CCV has blockage

replaced the pcv(vortex type) with the one from the E39 which has the fleece-filter.
Engine runs smoother while idling. Going to keep an eye on the oil in the intake
