Just brought my car down to PML at Bukit Timah.... they advised me to send it to Kg. Arang for check up..... TCC39, is your friend's car still at the workshop??? Heard its got to be there for 3 weeks whilst they remove the engine block to check.....
They claim that this fault shouldn't be with the 525 though they have had some 523s complaining about it......
Let me know how it goes......

My friend had already finished his repair about a month ago. The actual repair work was I think a couple of days but PML took 3 weeks to bring in the necessary parts (he dunno what) and provide him with a loan car.
His is a 523. Hope everything goes well for you.

Hi Fireplace,
I've successfully made good use of your I.C.E setup.
Everything seems to be in order (except that I do not need the pre-amp for my case) and installation by Ah Meng was very satisfactory. Big thanks to Zig who help me with the many details which I was not very sure of.
Though my setup is not as sophiscated as Nuvi360 or the very high end that's coming soon from Zig, I am already very happy with the performance as it is.
Shall show you your ex. I.C.E the next time we meet..haha
Cheers.

Let's catch up when you are free. Is there a GTG tomorrow at Kallang with the BMW.SG group?

Haha, glad to hear that you are satisfied with the set up. I love to sample the sound and I am sure I will itch for a ICE mod after that. But for now, I can only itch as I need the boot space for wheelchair for my dad. Need to preserve as much space as possible.
