Diskettes are so expensive then, S$60 for a set of 10 in 1982. I remember the newer compatible "Super 5" floppy drives that can be made to format a few extra tracks to squeeze up to 140K. And also hack the write protect sensor on this drive to record on the other size.

By the way, my colleague bought a 4GB USB mini-thumb drive in Hong Kong for an equivalent of S$189.
Here is the "very large" 60 MB hardisk and the "very small" 8GB CF . The hardisk was from the 80s where it was used on workstation while PC still using 5.25" Windcester floppy disk drive which was considered a luxury at that time. The HD consists of 8 x 5.25" platter and cost over US$12K at the time. Still remember when Maxtor and Micopolis were considered as the top end HD manufacturers. At any days, you could see over 10 company owned Benz parked at the carpark belonging to the managers( mind you, not directors or VP but managers). Gone are the days and the companies

The CF is 133 times larger in capacity , 40 cheaper and 1/200 times smaller. Who would ever though this could be a reality at that time?

Yes, it's bikini beach bar. It was shown in BMW-Sg forum, those guys were here and had a hell of good time. The waitress suppose to dress in tight short or bikini, better then Hooters

Yes! The bar (Bikini Bar) has waitresses in bikinis serving drinks and food. There are also other outlets ranging from ice cream to Japanese sushi train. It is really a relaxing place to spend a lazy afternoon and beaches are relatively safe. I have spent several Sundays there with my family.

Japanese sushi train
My imagination's already running wild. I remember a picture some time ago showing men eating sushi from the body of a naked woman!!!
Unfortunately the only shshi train we'll ever find here is run by a conveyor belt; sigh....

They can dance with the customers if you are gamed for it. Here are some pics by BMW-sg, I blanked out those guys leaving only the babe. This is what you would get at the bikin bar! So why are you all still hesitating.
