its the great white
Yes.. exactly what I was looking for. Does changing the "brakes" mean changing the Disc, The Callipers and the whole works?

Why is it that usually the front brakes are "ventilated" and slightly larger... and the rear ones are "solid" and "smaller"... even in rear wheel drive cars??

How much would the Brembo ones cost for a car?

During braking, the front of the vehicle does the majority of the work. Exactly how much is influenced by the vehicle's weight distribution, wheelbase, and center of gravity height. Therefore, the front disc is usually bigger.

Brakes is an important part of a car, how well a car brakes and may even save lives depending how a good system is. But too much braking force may make you feel like driving a jerking car. Just a minimum tap on the brake pedal, your car just glue to the road and halt. Unless you track or drives at extereme speeds with a very powerful enigne, personally, i think it is not necessary. Stock is good enough.
Of course, cosmetics is another theory altogether.
You can check out www.brembo.com or www.apracing.com for more info.

I don't think it's wise to mod the brakes. The stocks are tried and tested and WILL give you the optimum performance without sacrificing comfort, etc.

It is still okay even if you remap or mod exhausts, etc but its a different story if you supercharge your ride or even change the engine. Then you should go for better ones; otherwise, please leave it alone and save money.

I thought of getting someone to get me the ///M logo painted onto a piece of metal and stick it onto the calliper housing. That would really be great!!! Anyone got lobang?

I can bring you guys to Vincar at Ubi.. Nick Koh, the sales is highly recommended... tell him you are my pal... he can work out something...

The thing about PI (and what attracted me to them is not price alone... but the extra options which we needed to indent but they have already included "foc" in the sticker price. There is a Cayman S and 630i at the showroom now...

This PI exceeded my expectations. Remember during the GTG at tcc39's mansion at 2 Procreation Lane?

Some of you noticed the slight mist at the side mirror indicator lights.. I also found/felt a small portion near the passenger handle "not as polished" as the rest of the car...

On the next Tuesday, Nick offered to pickup the car for me and send to the polishers and to MBM Wheel Power, their workshop to check on the misting...and fixed both problems...

The part which surprised me was...(1) PML or C&C sales won't care about such aftersales... (2) My petrol was half tank and he topped it up to full without letting me know... I only found out the next day...

This is what I called great service...
