Wilman2772 got M5 seats imported, you may want to check with him.
somehow one has to reprogram the CPU to recognise comfort seat settings etc. etc. right? does third party have that capabilty?

Regarding the Comfort Seats for the E60... tried checking with PML parts... no response yet... same thing with Juzz4Cars...

Maybe need to do organ transplant...buy from E60 owner who needs spare cash!
hi - have spoken to PML before - retrofit seats is a No-no - they won't do it - they quoted "safety reasons"

For those of us who have mod the E60 to include a Reverse Camera... can the camera be activated without the gear put in reverse (i.e. via a switch of some sort)?

Would it be possible to use the same concept to install twin front cameras to see the left/right side of the front (esp useful when trying to filter into a main road when the vision is block by high walls or trees? (The E60 marketing brochure has this at the accessories section).

Comments?
Seen this in operating in Japan before. You will need a video multiplexor to combine the left & right camera into 1 video image on your iDrive screen.

Wilson owns BVO? Is he the infamous Great White Shark? How to bait him to this forum or Bugaboo's? Fresh blood?

1. the cam can be activated by a switch, just add a switch to it.
2. technically possible. i would like to test it on the bumper, left and right.
The camera I've seen in Japan is a singular probe-like device with 2 tiny cameras of each side on a Lexus LS400. According to the owner, its a retrofit. It was mounted on the centre just above the front bumper. This minimises damage to the camera if there is a mild collision. Very neat installation.

Dunno whats his r/s with BVO. back to your point, his car has m5 seats front and rear. as well as m5 interior door panels retrofitted by bvo. so i guess can be done...but PML will of cos never do it for ya.
