How many times are you being blocked or hogged by Taxis on the fast lane along expressways cruising at 80-90km/h max? You need to turn out on the left and overtake them?

Or is it only me that get impatient with these drivers?

 

Saw the burnt BMW parked at IDAC at Bk Batok VICOM. Still has the burning smell and boy, completely wrecked! Was there to report a minor accident on my ride. Silly lorry driver reverse and took one side of my M-mirror out!

 

WAY too often. I will try not to overtake on the left and continue to indicate my intention to overtake or worse, flash the guy. But usually, they turn a deaf eye on your signals. Only if can't help, I would make a quick left overtake, but only after checking for other road users and of course TP.

Perhaps the authority should consider making it an offense for hogging the fast lane, even if it is driven close to the speed limit.

Another thing I can do is to over take and cut back in front and slow down significantly to send a message but that can cause more troubles or risks to others. Just have to take a deep breath and sigh...

Sometimes I do that when the vehicle on the overtaking lane is extremely slow like 60km/hr on a 90km/hr stretch and they do not respond to high beams. Usually they will wake up and filter to the inner lanes. They were probably dreaming and didn't realise that they were hogging the overtaking lane.
