finally SMS-ed the boys my address for the idrive interface & TV screen in the car - they really couldnt read my handwriting

they are coming over on saturday - decided to install on my wife's 523 as i am having an incurable itch to buy new Z4 coupe so dont want to do anything to my 520 anymore - it's days are numbered & there's no love for it anymore.

bringing the wife's car for aux install with anwar at kg arang tomorrow
the boys will come over this saturday to install some "2 antennae" tv box that's supposed to be clearer.

will keep you guys posted.
Those two guys told me they suppose to go to your place last Monday. They did not make it? They were at my place changing the video interface unit.

For those with the video interface, there is new unit that allow iDrive to switch the video source instead of the remote control. I am not sure it really work or not. I am buying one in, waiting for the supplier to reply.

no exact price yet. bmw press release says price for roadster and coupe "similar" $32k pounds. i reckon sgd$230k+ hopefully less. my sales rep of course has no clue. production of rhd will start in apr 2006, delivery in aug for uk.

anyone can recommend someone higher up for me to contact?

hv driven the z4 3.0 (old engine) so the z4 coupe shld drive better with the new r6 3.0 engine. may not want sports suspension tho' don't want to rattle my teeth & i don't track.

Hi Doc. Sports suspension is not bad at all. Its still quite soft except that its slightly lower - approx 2 inches.

My 545 has got the sports suspension and coupled with the dynamic drive, it corners so much better than my friend's 520. I am not losing my teeth either. I have never brought any of my rides to the track yet; maybe one day we'll all go together. Go for it. Its one option you won't regret because it makes your ride look sportier.

Register your interest with your sales person and he/she will invite you for the launch. Thats the best you can hope for. The coupe really looks nice; better than the Caymen. But pictures can decieve; you'll never know till you see the real thing.

Don't ever do that again. You may get into an accident. I tried watching TV whilst driving. Can't tahan man!!! Really giddy!!! Plus its illegal. I'd rather get a ticket for speeding than watching American Idol!!!
